My name is Nansamba angella. I am 32 years old. I am a single mother. I live with my kids in Nabusugwe village in wakiso in Uganda.

   Throughout my years and even from birth, poverty was my beloved companion. I work as a hawker, which has been my family job for many years, and I bear the duty of caring for six children. The income I get is minimal to feed the hungry mouths of my children. As we struggle to get a decent daily amount of food, other essentials of life are fantasies. My family lives in a rental house in a poor environment and I worry for my children. The conditions they have been living in are out of their control. Life has been a lot of suffering, with very little fun or good memories to grow up with.

   As after every night, there is a dawn. I keep my heart filled with faith and hope. Until that day, when Africa in Me has reached our home and supported us not only on a financial level but also healed our emotional bruises. Our life is now improving, and that was my belief, which had never died despite difficulties. Thank you, Africa in Me, for being present and generous. God bless you all.
