Has 3 children

My name is Namugalu Dorah.
I am 37 years old.
I am a housewife and I have three children. I live in Lusanjja, Uganda.
I was devastated when due to poor nutrition and mental stress, I lost two children just after birth.
Life during the past years has been hard for my family. I financially supported the family until the day when I sadly lost my job due to an accident. I currently have no job and depend mainly on door-to-door jobs to cover family expenses. I do it with a lot of difficulties, gaining only a little money, not even enough to secure food for my kids or myself. I was devastated when due to poor nutrition and mental stress, I lost two children just after birth. And because problems often seem to come in groups, one of my children, even though he survived, was born with congenital pneumonia so I needed extra money for doctor's visits and to buy medicines for him.
Unfortunately now, none of my children go to school as I have not been able to afford school fees. We live in a rental house every month and I am always behind on rent; the landowner threatened to kick us out because of the delay in paying.
My dream was to start up a charcoal selling business. The members of The Africa In Me have supported us to get a sustainable livelihood. They donated food and clothes to us. I am very much grateful for what they have done for my family.
