My name is Namale Catherine, I am 38 years old.
I live in Bukwese Village in Uganda with my family.
There are 3 members in my family including myself and my two children.
I am still dealing with the immense grief of losing my child. It’s hard for a single mother to manage everything.
I am an uneducated woman, who has been divorced from her husband. All my children rely on me for food and essentials. One of my children died due to stillbirth. I am still dealing with the immense grief of losing my child. It’s hard for a single mother to manage everything. I was working in a restaurant and as the government imposed the lockdown everything was shut down. After everything opened up, they didn't want me back at work and I lost the job.
There is nothing else I can do right now. I have been in constant search for a job. There is no way I can manage everything without a job which makes me agitated. AFIM has been so obliged to help my family and this contribution to humanity has changed my life. My children don't have to sleep on an empty stomach and that gives me great joy as a mother. They have promised to help me find a suitable job. I pray that this work of humanity never ends and this help reaches to all the needy people out there.
