I am a widow and have no children of my own. My brother and his children are the only people left as my family. These few years have been tough for me as I am still in the grieving phase after my husband's sudden death. I am senile and it's difficult coping with it. I have been constantly taking care of my sick brother’s children for a few years now. As I  have no children of my own, I feel responsible for them as a mother. 

Personally, everything I do is to give them a happy life. After our parents passed away, I was the only one taking care of my brother. The drinking habit he became acquainted with within these few years has been hard to manage. The progressive endeavors by me and his children repeatedly failed and one day he had a stroke. That very moment drained away all our positivity and strength and led us back to a bad phase. Everything heals with it time so did the scars of my past. The state of vulnerability we were in has taught us to be more enduring and supportive of each other.

With the kids and the expenses of my brother’s treatment, the job I do couldn't cover it all. All I do for a living is collect wood from the jungle and sell them to the people. This time of pandemic has worsened my problems as no one is there to buy the wood. The only source of my income just dried up and there is no other job to replace with it. I wanted to escape the idea of living as nothing fell in the right place and I didn’t want to see the kids in all this pain and trauma.
