Makenke Village, Uganda | 32 years old
Has one child
My name is Bwambale Erias, I am 32years old.
I live in Makenke village in Uganda with my family.
My family consists of my husband and my child.
One day, unfortunately during a thug fight he was hit by a hammer on his head.
My motto in life has always been simple, to search for happiness in little things. As a human, we love to value tangible things a lot. We often forget the fact that our family, love, and God is what gives us the strength to move forward and strive for positivity.
I work as a hawker and travel places to sell goods whereas my husband has a stable business. One day, unfortunately during a thug fight he was hit by a hammer on his head. This incident has had a metaphor in my life which is devastating. His skull was fully damaged and he has developed “Autism”.The money we had saved up for our child’s future was all used up during his operation.
This incident has had a great impact on my life and on my family as well. We have to deal with the financial crisis as I am not able to feed my family twice a day. The medicine needed for my husband is very expensive. I am not even able to pay rent and my child’s tuition. AFIM has been constantly supporting us during this time. We have been provided with food and promised some clothing and we hope everyone will contribute for us in any way possible.
