AFAWA ESI
My name is Afawa Esi. I am a 45-year-old married woman.
I live in Ghana(Cape Coast) with my family which consists of me, my husband, and our 5 children. My husband and I have been involved in trade for a long time. Last year was hard for everyone and many businesses were shut down. Everything seemed uncertain, but we as humans have now adapted to this situation.
Our trade was severely hampered which makes it hard for us to earn for our children. We have been struggling to provide them food two times a day let alone fulfilling their other basic needs.
As parents, we want only the best for our children and ourselves. We live in a small house which needs maintenance. My husband is in serious need of a job that can help to feed our family. We want to provide some money to start a business for our children.
Our family is supported by AFIM. They have been helping us to search for good job opportunities. We consider AFIM a part of our family. We thank them for their graciousness and will continue to support and love them.
