Family of 4 including 3 children
My name is Nalubega Siifah, I am 38 years old. I live in Makenke village gaya Uganda. There are 4 members in our family including me and my 3 children.
This is the disease I have been battling for 15 years now. All my dreams were destroyed because this disease did not let me complete my training as I left it in my final year.
My husband died at a very young age due to high blood pressure that runs in the family. I have been the only breadwinner in the family since then. My eldest child suffers from respiratory disease and his treatment is really expensive. He uses a pump that gives him breath for a fleeting moment. My family used to run a small business but everything collapsed after my husband's death. I have not been able to feed my family, even once a day is a struggle. Hunger brings inanity and everyone in the family is frustrated with their life. This phase of life has been very infuriating for all of us.
They have been striving to support us in any way possible and we hope everyone plays their part in our journey in any way possible.
We are thankful for AFIM as they have been there for us throughout our problem. They have donated us food and essentials and we are forever grateful for their help.
